Famous UFO Sightings

Berwyn Mountains – 1974

On January 23rd 1974, at around 8:30 PM, many people living near Berwyn Mountains heard a large explosion. Many people looked into the sky to find green lights. Many people went into the mountains, believing a plane had crashed. A nurse was the first to reach the area where the noise came from. She discovered a large sphere that was emitting strange white lights. Police officers and government officials made her leave, claiming that the road was closed to unauthorized citizens. She claimed that the mysterious “Men in Black” visited her, and claimed they would do horrible things if she told anyone about her discovery. She claimed she had been lying the next day.

Belgium – 1989-1990

This incident, often referred to as The Belgian Wave, began on November 29th, 1989. Many people claimed that they saw a giant flying craft in the shape of a triangle, that had strange lights. Six radar stations found an unknown object on their screens. The sightings occurred repeatedly for months, and F-16 fighters were even sent after the UFO. One of the F-16s had the ship on its radar, only for the vehicle to drop over 9,000 feet in less than 5 seconds. The UFO continued to be sighted over 1,000 times.

Westall, Australia – 1966

In April, 1966, nearly 400 people witnessed a large grey flying saucer, fly over a school. Many students, and pedestrians spotted the UFO. The UFO hovered out of sight, near the ground for a few moments, only for it to arise again with five smaller aircrafts following it. Many official figures soon arrived to move people away from the area. Some strange men in suits forced the schools principal to hold an assembly to tell all of the students that there was no such thing as aliens.

New Mexico – 1949

During August of 1949, the famous astronomer Clyde W Tombaugh (Who discovered Pluto) and the rest of his family witnessed a group of blue-green rectangles soaring through the sky.

The Dancing Plague

The dancing plague of 1518 is an insane situation that scientists still can’t explain today! The dancing plague started when a women named Mrs.Troffea began to dance in the streets without stopping. Within a week 34 people joined her, and within a month 400 people joined them. Many physicians claimed that more dancing would help people stop. They even hired musicians to encourage them. This didn’t work as most of the people danced until they literally dropped. Dozens of people died because the dancing caused heart attacks and strokes.

The Kentucky Meat Shower

In Kentucky, on March 3rd 1876 meat rained from the sky. The type of meat has been left undetermined, however there were a few differing opinions from professionals. Most of the pieces of meat were 5×5 centimeters in size, however one of the pieces was 10×10 centimeters.

Water Demon

In 1963 the Methuen Water Demon began terrorizing the Martin’s family. The family began experiencing some strange things that happened with a damp spot in the corner of their home’s floor. They had found the spot spurting out water at random intervals. At first, they believed it was an error in plumbing. They attempted many times to get the pipes fixed or replaced. They soon found out that the pipe wasn’t the source of the water emerging from the damp spot, as it began to spurt when all of the nearby pipes were removed. The water even began squirting out of the walls in different areas of the house. The family moved to a friends house and the water problems followed them. Later, when they attempted to completely turn off the water, their plastic walls exploded with water. The home was destroyed.

Kasper Hauser

It was May 26, 1828 when a teenage boy (Kaspar Hauser) was found wandering around in Nuremberg, Germany. When people first discovered him, he would only mumble gibberish. The only thing he was able to say in English was that his father was a cavalry officer, and that he wanted to become a cavalry officer himself. Over time, he began to speak more about his life. He gave the police his name, and explained that he had been locked in a cell by an unknown person, for an unknown amount of time. He was trapped with water, food and toys. Kasper became famous, and he had many articles published about him. He also learned how to write, and he created an autobiography.

On December 14th, 1833, Kaspar was stabbed by a stranger, and a note was left with him. When put up to a mirror, the note would read:

Hauser will be

able to tell you quite precisely how

I look and from where I am.

To save Hauser the effort,

I want to tell you myself from where

I come _ _ .

I come from from _ _ _

the Bavarian border _ _

On the river _ _ _ _ _

I will even

tell you the name: M. L. Ö.

Kaspar died 3 days later, on December 17th, 1833.

The Enfield Poltergeist

A ghost dubbed the Enfield Poltergeist haunted a home for an entire year, between 1977 and 1978. The ghost has been witnessed by investigators, journalists, and police. The ghost would make knocking noises, or move furniture. It would throw people into the air, or make them levitate slightly above the ground. The ghost also seemed to be able to communicate through people, or through the knocking sounds. There are audio recordings of the ghost doing this.

The Pollock Twins

In 1957, two sisters named Joana Pollock and Jacqueline Pollock died in a horrible motor accident. The next year, two new twins were born in the same family. The twins were named Gillian and Jennifer. When the twins were first born, their Father noticed a white line on Jennifer’s head that matched a scar that looked similar to Jacqueline’s scar. The new twins also had the exact same birthmarks as the deceased twins. The living twins began to request toys that the deceased twins had previously owned.

The family soon moved away from their hometown. When they returned home, the twins were reaching the age of four. During the car ride to return to their previous hometown, the twins passed the school that the deceased twins attended. The twins claimed that they had gone to that same school before. Soon, the twins were given the deceased twin’s toys. Both twins had names for each of the teddy bears, and somehow, the names were all the same.

Time Travel Evidence

Time travel is a common topic in the science fiction genre. However, across the internet, you can find proof of several different time travellers. In this blog, I will show “proof” of time travel, and explain why people argue that it is true/false.

The Time Travelling Hipster

Time travelling Hipster

The picture has been proven to have been taken in the year 1941, and it has not been modified. It was taken at the re-opening of the South Forks bridge, in Gold Bridge, British Columbia. It looks like a pretty convincing photo proving time travel. The story behind the photo says that the time traveller was accidentally photographed.

Why it Could be Real

His hairstyle couldn’t have been created in his time period. Hair salons only had brushes and combs at the time, but the alleged time traveller obviously used other modern hair styling items. Also, the design of his sunglasses didn’t exist until later on in time. His t-shirt wasn’t possible because ink presses for shirts also didn’t exist at the time. Some people believe the object in his hand is a digital camera.

Why it Could be Fake

The digital camera people think he is holding is actually a handheld camera, that existed in those times. His sweater seems like he had extra material sowed on for warmth, as the area the picture was taken, was a colder place. His t-shirt wasn’t created by an ink press, a patch that the local hockey team wore was sowed onto his shirt. We know he is a hockey player, so his hair style can be explained by the crazily designed helmets of the time. The glasses were actually invented to prevent snow blindness while playing hockey.

The Watch

TimeTravel

In 2008, archaeologists in China decided to open an undisturbed 400 year old tomb. They removed the front of the coffin and looked inside. While searching through the soil in the coffin, they found the piece of metal shown in the image above. Four hundred years ago watches obviously didn’t exist, but this piece of metal was shaped exactly like one. It was marked at the time 10:06 with the word ‘Swiss’ engraved on the back. Since the tomb had been undisturbed for 400 years, people claimed that it was a time traveller.

Why it Could be Fake

The watch was only proven to be a maximum of 100 years old. The scientists could have gotten the age of the coffin wrong, or the coffin could have already been opened by undetected grave robbers.

Older Movies Using Cell-Phones GIF of the future

This image is from an older movie, that existed long before cell phones. However, in the image it appears one person has a cell phone that they are talking into. Many older movies actually appear to have cell phones in them. Many people think that the people with cell phones are actually time travellers.

Why it Could be Fake

Many experts believe that these people are actually using an old fashioned hearing aid. The hearing aid was called an ear trumpet. Ear trumpets look like this:

Doppelgängers

What Are Doppelgängers?

Doppelgänger is German for double-goer. However, in many fiction stories, doppelgängers are people that look exactly like you, and they usually cause bad luck. They are thought to be paranormal beings.Even though these creatures are thought to be fiction, there are many people who believe they are real. In this blog post, I will be listing some of the most popular stories about doppelgängers.

Abraham Lincoln

In his time, Abe was very open about his belief in the paranormal. According to Abe himself, he had experienced paranormal activity. Abe claimed that the night before his election, he looked into his mirror to see that he had two faces. The second face was pale and ghost-like. He quickly moved back, startled with fear. The second face had disappeared. Then, he went back to the place he was standing, thinking he had simply seen something that wasn’t there, when it appeared again. In hopes of figuring out why he saw the doppelgänger, he moved around the mirror, looking from different angles. He was only able to see the face once more.

His wife believed that two faces meant Lincoln would be re-elected for two terms, but she also expected that the pale, near-dead face meant that he wouldn’t survive the re-election. Her prediction came true, as Lincoln did get re-elected, and he did die before the second term.

Jonne Donne’s Doppelgänger

Although some people have doppelgängers that symbolize bad luck, Jonne Donne had a doppelgänger wasn’t going to cause him horrible luck. Jonne was in Paris. His wife was pregnant at the time. He had seen his wife, but when he walked up to her, he saw her holding a child. The scary part is, the doppelgänger appeared at the same moment his child was born.

Queen Elizabeth I

Not much is known about Queen Elizabeth’s doppelgänger. It is known that only hours before her death, she saw herself on lying on her own bed, pale-faced and nearly dead. Some speculate that the shock of seeing her doppelgänger killed her.

Emilie Sagée

This is one of the most famous cases of doppelgängers ever. Emilie was a French teacher. In the year 1846 many of her students noticed a ghostlike figure that would commonly repeat her actions. The doppelgänger would be moving around whilst Emilie was standing still, and it would stay still whilst Emilie moved around. When Emilie was sick, the doppelgänger would seem healthy. One day, Emilie was writing on her chalkboard. The students all witnessed as her doppelgänger walked into the class and repeated the action whilst standing directly next to her, yet the doppelgänger wasn’t using chalk.

Another time, her doppelgänger was both working in a garden outside, whilst the teacher was sitting in her class. Two brave students from the class went up to the teacher’s doppelgänger to try to speak to it. The students claimed that there was a strange resistance in the air around the doppelgänger. Emilie never saw her doppelgänger, but she always began to feel sick when the doppelgänger was near.
